Ninja Rijnks-Kleikamp is the coordinator of the Research Center for Material Culture. She manages the museum's participation in the EU-project Taking Care, and supervises the center's fellowships and the internship program.
She obtained her Master's degree in Art Policy and Management at the Utrecht University. She holds a Bachelor's degree in Art History from Leiden University and a bachelors degree in Account Management. During her studies she developed an interest in security and safety in relation to museums, their collections and visitors.
Since then she has worked for several museums in The Hague, including the Panorama Mesdag and Haags Historisch Museum. For the past eight years she has been working for Museum Volkenkunde / Nationaal Museum van Wereldculturen.
Ninja runs the RCMC efficiently and with great care. She aims to ensure that all the projects, programs and events are planned well. What she enjoys most is bringing people together to facilitate the exchange of knowledge and ideas.
